PPB: Motorcyclist killed in collision with minivan



PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A crash involving a minivan and bike proved to be deadly on Wednesday evening, in keeping with PPB.

Police say that officers responded to the two-vehicle crash close to Southeast sixth Avenue and Southeast Morrison Road simply after 7 p.m. The motorcyclist reportedly died whereas he was being taken to the hospital. Investigators imagine that velocity could have been a contributing issue within the crash.

The motive force of the minivan, in addition to a passenger, had been evaluated by medical employees, however neither was taken to the hospital.

Southeast sixth Avenue can be closed between Southeast Belmont Road and Southeast Alder Road in the course of the investigation. Moreover, Southeast Morrison Road can be closed between Southeast seventh Avenue and Southeast Grand Avenue.
